With Richards, she guested on "Live at the Hollywood Palladium" in 1988, and "Main Offender", in 1992.Besides, Keith Richards invited Sarah to accompany him on tour in 1988: her association with him led to another world tour, a tour with Richards' X-pensive Winos, appearances on two of his albums, and on The Rolling Stones' "Steel Wheels" album in 1989.She also released a little-noticed dance single in 1990, "When You Talk to Me/ Manhandled," with Disc jockey Jellybean Benitez. They gained much success after the release of 1974's "Nightbirds" and 1975's "Phoenix".Also, they toured with British rock group The Who, leading up to the 1973 release of "Pressure Cookin'".During this period, the group gained notice from the mainstream after opening for singer-songwriter Laura Nyro and recording an album, "Gonna Take a Miracle", together. In 1971, the group ditched their bouffant wigs and dresses for Afros and jeans, releasing transitional records such as "Labelle" and "Moon Shadow".Birdsong left the group to join The Supremes in 1967 and four years later, The Bluebelles changed their name to Labelle and began recording material that set them apart from other girl groups including songs of political, social, and sexual matters, transforming them into a "hard-rocking, a sexually and politically outspoken group".Sarah Dash kicked off her singing career joining Holte and Tucker in "The Ordettes" in 1961 as the group's name was changed to Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles after Holte was advised to adopt the stage name of Patti Labelle.Her father, Abraham Dash was a pastor at the Trenton Church of Christ, while her mother, Mary Elizabeth Dash was a nurse. Sarah lastly celebrated her 76th birthday in the August of 2021 and as per her birth date, her zodiac sign was Leo. Similarly, her religious belief was in the Christian religion. "Her star will never fade from this city and the heart of its residents," he wrote. Dash's work this year on a campaign to urge Trentonians to get vaccinated. He wrote: "Our resident music legend and Trenton's very first music ambassador, Sarah Dash, has passed away." No cause of death was given. She was announced in a statement by Trenton Mayor Reid Gusciora. Sarah Dash, the singer who joined with Nona Hendryx and Patti LaBelle in the groundbreaking 1970s funk group Labelle has died on 20th September 2021 at age 76.
